Aburatsu Port
Aburatsu Port is a natural, well-sheltered harbor located along the scenic Nichinan Coast in Miyazaki Prefecture, and it was designated as an important port in 1952. After the port development plan was formulated in 1955, breakwaters and mooring facilities were progressively developed, and in 1998 the East Wharf, capable of berthing container ships and RORO ships, was put into service, enabling the port to handle a larger volume of cargo.
