Hachinohe Port

Hachinohe Port is located on the Pacific coast in the southeastern part of Aomori Prefecture. Triggered by its designation as a New Industrial City in 1964, basic material industries such as paper manufacturing and non-ferrous metals successively established themselves along the waterfront, and port development has progressed, including large-scale quays, ferry terminals, and container terminals.
