Imabari Port

Imabari Port is located at the tip of the Takanawa Peninsula in the northeastern part of Ehime Prefecture (latitude 34°04' N, longitude 133°00' E), facing the main shipping route of the Seto Inland Sea. It is an important port situated roughly midway between Kyushu and the Hanshin region. Behind it lies the Imabari Plain, which opens onto the lower reaches of the Sosha River, while in front of it stretches the "Shimanami Kaido," a bridge network connecting the beautifully scattered islands.
