Ishigaki Port
Ishigaki Port, located even further south than Okinawa's main island at 24°20' north latitude and 124°8' east longitude, plays a gateway role connecting mainland Japan with Hong Kong, the Philippines, and other Southeast Asian countries. It is Japan's southernmost important port, facing many natural heritage sites such as Sekisei Lagoon National Park and a treasure trove of subtropical nature, blessed with the geographical advantage of being surrounded by numerous inhabited islands.
