Matsuyama Port

Matsuyama Port is located in the northwestern part of Shikoku, in the central area of Ehime Prefecture. As the maritime gateway to Matsuyama City, the prefectural capital with the largest population in Shikoku, it has occupied a strategic position on the Seto Inland Sea shipping routes since ancient times, and has developed as an important port in the Seto Inland Sea for transportation and industry connecting Kyushu and Honshu.
