Nakatsu Port

Nakatsu Port is located in the northwestern part of Oita Prefecture, on the border with Fukuoka Prefecture, and serves Nakatsu City, the central city of the Buzen region that spans from northwestern Oita Prefecture to northeastern Fukuoka Prefecture. Since the era of the old feudal domains, it has flourished as a vital transportation hub connecting the Hanshin, Chugoku, and Kanmon areas.
