Okada Port
Okada Port is located in the northern part of Oshima Island. Oshima Island is situated about 110 km south of Tokyo on the sea, and is the largest island among the Izu Islands. Mount Mihara rises in the center of the island, and the eastern side of the island falls to the sea in steep cliffs, while the western side has a somewhat gentler slope with open flatland. Except for the central crater floor (caldera), the entire island is covered with forest. In addition, as a place where one can learn about the relationship between nature and the earth through the activity of the active volcano Mount Mihara, Oshima Island was certified as the first Japan Geopark in the Kanto region in September 2010.
