Osaka Port
Osaka Port, known in ancient times as Naniwazu, has developed as a key transportation hub connecting with the continent, including Korea and China. Since it opened as a modern port in 1868, facilities have been developed through full-scale port construction work. Since then, with the promotion of port usage and the development of industrial trade, it has flourished as one of Japan's leading trading ports and a center of Asian trade. In this way, in response to the expansion of Japan's economy and the development of Osaka's industry, Osaka Port aims for further development as an international trading port by developing and expanding port facilities, rationalizing port functions, and enhancing port services.
