Yokkaichi Port

Yokkaichi Port is located in the central part of the Japanese archipelago, close to the junction of the Chubu, Kinki, and Hokuriku regions, making it a gateway for tourism and leisure in these areas. In particular, the opening of the Shin-Meishin Expressway (between Kameyama Junction and Kusatsu-Tanakami Interchange) in 2008, and the Ishigure Tunnel on National Route 421 in 2011, dramatically improved access to Kyoto and Shiga Prefectures. The nearest Higashimeihan Expressway Yokkaichi-Higashi Interchange is connected by a straight prefectural road (approximately 10 minutes).
